Different Knot Netting Type

A: This is the most familiar and common barbed wire knot. It consists of two wire strands twisted together and starred with either 2- or 4-point barbs at intermittent distances.
B: This is a hinged-joint knot. It’s formed by the vertical guy wire being wrapped around the main wire multiple times at each intersection.
C: This is the fixed-knot woven used in our fixed-knot woven wire fence, which uses a single wire that is tightly wrapped and knotted around the main wire and the vertical guy wire. It has the highest vertical strength and will hardly move or loosen under pressure.
Different Wire Diameters:
The gauge in the diagram indicates the thickness or diameter of the wire. The larger the gauge number, the smaller the wire size. Smaller (thicker) gauge wires are more suitable for greater pressure and therefore for medium to large animals, etc.
We generally choose 12.5 gauge as our first choice for farm fencing applications, which is suitable for most livestock protection and farm security.
